  • Hookup any door or pull up bar in your house and position yourself in front of the door strapped with the ATLAS bungee-vest and lunge yourself forward into a handstand. The varying levels of resistance provided by the resistance tubes will help you stabilize and offer support while you hone in your balance. Decrease the resistance as you improve and build the shoulder strength and mass through progressive overloading
  • Do assisted handstand pushups – Build great shoulder strength and mass by doing a handstand pushup. No need for a complicated barbell rack or dumbbells. Use your own weight as the weight, and vary the load with 5 different resistance bands, affording you 9 different levels of resistance with up to 115lbs of average resistance. Add even more resistance bands to aid you or provide more resistance if necessary

ATLAS Bungee-Vest

The Bungee-Vest is designed to function similar to bungee jumping, except this vest goes around your shoulders under your arm pit region to provide support during push-up movements. The comfortable padding provides comfort during exercise and the strong construction allows heavy loads for up to 250lbs.

Resistance up to 115lbs

Made of high quality latex, the resistance tubes provide up to 115lbs of effective resistance, depending on your setup. If you weigh 165lbs, using all 5 resistance bands you will effectively be pushing a load of only 50lbs (165lbs-115lbs). See resistance chart in next slide to see how resistance can vary with different resistance band combinations.

Resistance Chart

The chart is an example of a person weighing 165lbs. Using all 5 bands, an effective resistance of 115lbs is obtained. Therefore his or her effective load when doing a push-up movement will be effectively 50lbs. This varies depending on your setup, how high your anchor is in relation to the floor.

Each combination varies the resistance by 15lbs which allows you to do drop sets or increase the weight each set.

Decrease the resistance as you progress over time through progressive overload to build shoulder strength and mass.

Add extra tubes to further increase your resistance and lower your pushing load as needed to increase reps and do more sets.

ATLAS Push-Up Bars

The ATLAS Push-Up bars feature high quality thick ribbed foam handles for comfort and grip when doing push movements. The bars provide extra clearance from the ground when doing handstand push-ups as well as regular push-ups, pike push-ups and one arm push-ups.
